after the east coast earthquake scare, now i am worried about this:
"The New York metropolitan area will experience the worst conditions later Saturday night and Sunday with hurricane conditions possible along with destructive wind, heavy flooding rain, and storm surge with coastal flooding. Tropical storm conditions expected western NJ and the upstate of NY up the Hudson River Valley." via

i don't know how much more i can handle from mother nature!
JUST IN CASE, we are stocking up on a few non-perishables (beef jerky, boxed juices and bottled water, crackers and trail mixes, etc.) and also gathering our candles, flashlights, and an emergency to-go bag for popples and ourselves. here's hoping that everyone stays safe, dry, and far away from danger.

Oh no, Ang! I hope it doesn't hit as hard as they're talking about! Way to be prepared, though! Stay safe! :)
Girl, we are in the same boat. I live less than 50 miles from the Atlantic ocean. Keep safe and pray! Hope all is well. Dawn Suitcase Vignettes xo
