{Friday Night Dinner} David Chang inspired

I came home late from work (exhausted and starving) to incredible smells wafting through our apartment building hallways. I burst in the door to find Luke in the midst of preparing an amazing Asian dinner for 2.
He truly never ceases to amaze me!

{Friday Night Dinner} Dumpling How-To

Filmed, edited, and cooked by Luke

The very first night I ever hung out with Luke, he made orange chicken with rice and pan-fried dumplings. It was truly love at first bite and I was super impressed. (little did I know that the dumplings had been frozen and were from Costco) A year or so later, I introduced him to steamed dumplings, or dim-sum, at Bo-Lings in Kansas City. He was hooked! Have you ever attempted to make steamed dumplings at home? They are so delicious and satisfying (nom nom nom) Here's Luke's adapted recipe in video form. DO IT!

If you live in NYC and want a quick dumpling fix, go here. You'll thank me later!
